Useful Information

Best time to travel
April to June and September to October offer the most comfortable conditions for this itinerary. The programme runs year-round — winter months work well for smaller groups focused on Athens and Delphi with fewer crowds and better hotel rates.

Walking difficulty
Moderate. Most sites involve walking on uneven ancient terrain — cobblestones, gravel paths, and steps. Comfortable closed-toe shoes are strongly recommended. The itinerary pace allows adequate time at each site without rushing.

Group size
Designed for groups of 10 to 150 passengers. Larger groups are accommodated with multiple coaches and guide teams where necessary. Minimum group size for this programme is 10 passengers.

Hotel category
The standard programme uses 4-star hotels throughout. Upgrades to 5-star or adjustments to 3-star are available on request — please advise at time of enquiry.

Dress code
Modest dress is required when visiting churches and monasteries — covered shoulders and knees for all visitors. We advise all groups of this requirement in advance.

Customisation
Duration, hotel category, pace, and included sites can all be adapted to your group’s needs. Extensions such as a day cruise from Athens or a visit to the island of Aegina can be added. Contact us with your group’s specific requirements and we will prepare a tailored proposal.
